Mr Jumanne’s Sunflower FarmvMVG & PlantVillage’s Dream Team member Ashura visited farms in Zeze village, including Mr Jumanne’s. Ashura surveyed the farms, used the Plant Nuru app, gave advice on how to take care of diseased crops, and advised on proper plant spacing and timely harvesting.

This sunflower farm shows how taking care of the environment & adapting to change can help the land and crops.

Drilling a new borehole for a water pump – Kazamwendo primary is in Buhigwe district in Kigoma and had critical access issue to water. Mboni ya Vijana has started drill to solve the issue at the school. Funded by Up With the Community Organization.

Girls at Tunamkumbuka

Building a classroom at Butiama – Building has started at Butiama for a classroom with Hope for Girls and Women. Eventually they’re hoping to build more including living quarters and washing facilities to help ease pressure on the existing Butiama safe house.
