(1) Laying irrigation pipes in Zeze
Villagers in places like Zeze, Kigoma, generally can only grow crops during the rainy seasons. Benedicto Hosea, our local rep there is working hard to address this via his organisation MVG by providing access to water year round. Here local children are excited to see irrigation pipes being laid near their school. Read more here.
(2) Deaf tailors in Matumbulu, Dodoma
The Matumbulu project in Dodoma, run by our local rep Patrick, is training deaf students in welding and tailoring, and is about to open a shop selling their wares. They are also selling them on social media here.

(5) Improved water source in Kagera
Previously this spring was often contaminated by animal waste, so we funded this construction organized by our local rep Alpha to protect it, greatly benefitting local children and the wider community. Read more about our water projects here.
(6) Learning yoga at Hope
Students at Hope’s FGM safe house are learning yoga thanks to Hayley from My Little Zen, here in person. This is an ongoing project via zoom that will be rolled out to other schools next month. The girls have found the practice has many benefits to their confidence and well being, which they will talk about at our next Inspiring Girls event. Read more about this programme here.
