(1) Learning simple business skills in Zeze

Here our local rep Benedicto is demonstrating an app that teaches simple business  skills as part of a microfinance and training scheme in Zeze village. Read more here.

Women typically spend many hours a day carrying water and firewood to their homes. We are addressing this by funding wells closer to village centres and training in clean cook stoves that use less wood.

(4) Improved water source at Izigo ward, Muleba

Villagers can now access water from this improved spring in Kagera, one of 23 such projects we funded last year. Read more here.

(5) Second chance for young mothers

Tumaini Open School supports young mothers in Tabora region and beyond who have been excluded from education when they became pregnant, to offer them a second chance of education at Tumaini Open School. More information here.

(6) New Kitchen at Mdughuyu Primary school

Students at Mdughuyu get lunch for the first time from the kitchen funded by TDT as part of the integrated village development project in collaboration with EuCanAid. Read more about this project here.
