REDESA is a well-established organisation that provides Entrepreneurship and Vocational Training to young people, who leave school with limited educational attainment, in Mtwara region. In 2015 TDT provided a grant to purchase dressmaking/tailoring and carpentry equipment. Their trainees have done well with a significant number setting up their own businesses or becoming directly employed. We have now provided them a further grant for the materials to build their own classroom, which will enable them to store their equipment safely and make them a more financially viable organisation, as they will no longer have to pay rent.
