Our local representative Innocent Temu helped his friend, the doctor in charge of poorly resourced Manyoni District Hospital, to apply for our help. As a result, we funded two delivery beds, sheets, pillow cases, mattresses and other medical equipment for the improvement of maternity care services.

Our parent, The Britain-Tanzania Society was also founded in 1975. It aims to increase mutual knowledge, understanding and respect between the peoples of Britain and Tanzania. It encourages knowledge and strong ties through regular seminars, events and publications.
