Following the previous project for prisoners at Bangwe Prison in Kigoma urban area TDT agreed to assist authorities and prisoners at two rural prisons, Ilagala and Ikwetanga in Uvinza District. 200 blankets and 200 mattresses were provided. Appreciative feedback from the prison authorities included messages from the prisoners. They no longer have to sleep on the bare floors and have blankets and mattresses to combat health and hygiene issues.
