A grant of £960 from the H & J Visram Foundation was awarded to this Catholic Mission training centre at Nyaigando near Bukoba so that the sisters could purchase more sewing machines for the local village girls they train. Sister Redempta has written to thank TDT and H & J Visram for the 7 sewing machines, 1 sweater making machine and rolls of cloth.
