WED 2022 is all about Climate change, nature and biodiversity loss, and pollution and waste –evidence that Earth is “code red” is all around us and growing more ominous every day. The way out of this dilemma is to transform our economies and societies to make them inclusive, fair, and more connected with nature. We must shift from harming the planet to healing it. #OnlyOneEarth calls for collective, transformative action on a global scale to celebrate, protect and restore our planet. The good news is that the solutions and the technology exist and are increasingly affordable.
We will hear from a range of youth from organisations working successfully in this field including PlantVillage, Tanzania Development Trust, Crowd2Map, ACT Alliance. Vikes. Felm and ELCT – more details to follow.
This will be an informal session with opportunities to network and ask questions.
Everyone welcome!
The session will be in Swahili and English.
