Yet another incredible month for Tanzania Development Trust and its partners, highlighted in our photo competition. We see life-giving water sources and livestock that benefit the health of communities, alongside entrepreneurship training to boosting employment. Which is your favourite success story?

(1) Pass a goat project, Kagera
Local partner Kwa Wazee run projects to get goats to vulnerable groups in Muleba. They started with 40 goats and have now distributed 153 goats to boost income and nutrition. Read more about our goat projects here.
(2) Improved water source, Kigoma
Enjoying clean water at Mdyanda water point in Kasulu. Previously people had to use water from muddy streams shared with animals . Read more about our water projects here.
(3) Entrepreneurship Programme, Kigoma
Isaya got poor exam results but says “MVGs entrepreneurship programme has changed my attitude towards becoming an entrepreneur. I now want to build my own clean energy system. This will help me create employment to many other people while serving our environment”
(4) Entrepreneurship Programme, Kigoma
Grace is a form one dropout. She is now building her confidence via this entrepreneurship training and wants to start a food business.
(5) Collecting water, Kigoma
Drilling for water is a messy, long business, but leads to huge impact in villages where people currently walk long distances to collect water from dirty ponds. Read more about our water projects here.
