(1) Collecting waste to make biochar, Kigoma

Local partner MVG are collecting waste cassava husks to make biochar, which mixed with animal dung not only captures carbon from the atmosphere but also greatly increases crop yields.

(2) Deaf students graduate primary school

Deaf students from form four graduate school in Dodoma. Cleria, on the far right is now in secondary school. The boys are now learning a trade at Matumbulu.

(3) Planting trees in Kigoma

Students at Shunguliba secondary school, in Kasulu, plant avocado trees to help improve students’ nutrition as well as the school environment.

6. Children, Singida

 

Villagers at Mdughuyu’s now enjoy clean water from the borehole funded by TDT.  This is part of an integrated village development project including a clinic and  improvements to the primary school.
