(1) Collecting water, Kagera
Children often have to collect water for drinking and cleaning from long distances.
This is why we are fundraising for boreholes to give them clean water near by.

(5) Pauline learns tailoring, Dodoma
I am Paulina Mazengo, I’m 19yrs old, I come from Mpwayungu village.I was born with no pinna in my ears and I can’t hear. I went to the primary school in my village but couldn’t understand anything and failed my national exams every year. The headteacher asked my parents to send me to a deaf school instead but when i got there it was late as I am too old to start. I stayed home for almost 3 years doing nothing until I heard that Matumbulu is teaching Tanzanian Sign Language and tailoring. Now I can understand people, learn and communicate.
